Memorial Unveiled to Peter Daly in Monageer

Peter Daly from County Wexford was killed fighting in the International Brigade for the Spanish Republic on the 9th of September 1937.

The Peter Daly Society have erected a monument to him in his home village of Monageer County Wexford.

The memorial was unveiled by the Cuban ambassador to Ireland Teresita Trujillos on the 3rd September 2011.
